J.M. Davidson's unique structure and diverse abilities allow us to manage a wide range of projects within our industry.  Since 1982, we have developed and maintained an excellent reputation for our manpower, responsiveness, and managerial coordination skills.  Our strengths have resulted in successful completion of large complex projects from design build to conventional contracts.

J.M. Davidson provides industrial construction services for Ingleside on the Bay, Port of Corpus Christi, Houston Ship Channel, the Rio Grande Valley, Major Gulf Coast Ports, and Power Generation firms in Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. We proudly manage Industrial Construction Projects from site work to start up including: Civil, Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Painting, Sandblasting, Electric Substations, Metal Fabrication, ASME Code Fabrication, Marine Construction, and Instrument and Electrical work.

History

J.M. Davidson Inc. was established in 1982 on Southern Minerals Rd. to provide General Construction solutions for the Corpus Christi petrochemical industry.  Since inception, J.M Davidson Inc. has continued to grow in size and diversity, performing construction projects in 3 different countries and 7 different states, all while establishing itself in multiple major industrial services.

- In 1988, J.M. Davidson successfully bid and performed the Civil and Piping portion of Koch Refinery's $286 mil. Hydrocracker Project.

- In 1990, J.M. Davidson performed the largest concrete pour ever in Reynolds Alumina Refinery (now Sherwin Alumina).  The Calciner foundation project was over $1 mil. and approximately a 5000 cu. yd. monolithic pour.

- Also in 1990, J.M. Davidson moved its headquarters to Aransas Pass, TX and opened a 7000 sq. ft. Metal Fabrication Shop with adjacent office and a 3000 sq. ft. Mechanic Shop.

- In 1993, J.M. Davidson opened its Sandblasting and Painting division with a paint yard located on the Corpus Christi Back Bay to provide off-site and on-site corrosion control.

- In 1995, J.M. Davidson completed construction of the largest Marine Terminal facility on the Port of Corpus Christi, completing the Civil and Piping portions of four, 400,000 barrel storage tanks for Diamond Shamrock.

- In 1995, J.M. Davidson performed its first new construction substation project for American Electric Power for $1.6 mil in Falfurrias and Zapata, TX.

- In 1998, J.M. Davidson performed the piping portion of the Cogeneration Power Unit for Occidental Chemical Ingleside and Gregory Power Partners.

- In 2002, J.M. Davidson opened its office in Laporte, TX and established itself as a Program Logic Controller panel fabricator and provider of Instrument and Electrical services in Houston and Corpus Christi, TX.

J.M. Davidson shall continue to provide responsive service for our customers aimed at executing safe and timely projects of the highest quality found in our industry.
